DJ Hide

DJ Hide first stepped on to the underground club scene back in 1995, when he was just 19 years old. His passion for blending Techno & Trance earned him a residency with Kermit Productions at the Chunnel Club. As a devoted vinyl enthusiast, Hide relied on his trusted Technics 1200 turntables to master the art of mixing and creating energetic and uplifting main floor sets.

Over time, he had the privilege of performing in line-ups with accomplished artists such as Trevor Nelson, Rob Vanden, Corrie and Miss Woods. As the new millennium approached, he continued to explore House, Techno and Trance, soon after he entered the emerging Psytrance party scene and was captivated by its pulsating, uplifting energy.

Embracing this new genre, he founded Psykick Productions alongside DJ EyeBall, organising events in London, as well as beach parties under the Festival Pier and club nights at venues like Brixton Mass.
His residency with Kamouflage allowed him to perform at numerous Psytrance underground warehouse parties where he played Main room Psytrance sets and dub chillout room sets alongside well-regarded artists such as Space Buddha, OOOD, Fordie, Astral Alex and many more.

In 2006, Hide collaborated with The Eye Dr to create a show that has become an integral part of Select’s history. For over a decade, this show has taken listeners on a unique journey through downtempo, psybient and melodic chillout music.
