DANEC is aiming to get dancefloors, his background means he keeps those sweaty dancefloor moments in mind whilst tinkering with new productions that help drive the rhythms of the night.

DANEC’s journey into production echoes that of many of the most successful names in Electronic Music. Classically trained in violin and piano, he was once in a band that achieved success headlining venues such as Camden’s famed Jazz Cafe. However, he had never forgotten the awe of seeing Carl Cox playing on four decks as an 18 year old partygoer, and began to work on his own mixing skills over time, experimenting with playing DnB, Breaks, Electro and Techno. He was lucky enough to DJ at the now defunct but legendary London club The Cross, and regularly books slots at venues across Europe and the UK. Like many other DJs, he started producing as a way of creating the perfect music to fit into his sets.

DANEC loves to try and use as much analogue as possible but also get experimental with the digital side, adding glitchy cuts and other flourishes to elevate each track. He has many more solo and collaboration productions in the pipeline and already has enough creative material to make a serious impact.
