Slim Dean

Slim Dean started playing music from a young age, growing up he would practice mixing in his bedroom and record his mixes and hand cassette tapes out to friends at school.

He played his first set in 93 at the age of 13 for a friend’s birthday party, soon after he became a resident DJ at a local nightclub near where he lived in South London.
Playing alongside other DJs & selectors, Slim learnt how to play to a crowd and found his way around the Electronic Music scene quickly, playing regularly at both local and nationwide events.

Slim has been recognised for his skills & talent by MCA, Sony & EMI.
In 2006 things changed & musically he moved in a totally different direction, discovering his love for House Music. This led on to numerous sets across the UK & Ibiza.

Slim is the founder of Shaken Not Stirred events as well as being the co-owner of Dirty Disclosure & We Love Garage.
He has played on a number of different radio stations over the years and joined Select in 2012.
