PEGGY GOU TO PERFORM OUTDOOR SHOW IN LONDON THIS SUMMER

In the same week as her iconic appearance at the Burberry show at this years London fashion week, dressed immaculately and pictured with the Tottenham Hotspur and South Korean football team captain Heung Min-Son. Peggy Gou announced that she will be returning to London this summer for what is set to be a mammoth headline show. 

The South Korean house music star will take over the 20,000 capacity Gunnersbury Park in West London, joined by Mochakk, LSDXOXO, Sally C and Hiver for the day-into-night party.

 

Peggy Gou’s career speaks for itself with huge releases spanning the last eight years such as ‘It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)’ , ‘Starry Night’ , ‘I Go’ and the BRIT Award nominated ‘’It Goes Like’ Nanana’ to name just a few. Previously releasing on labels including Ninja Tune and Phonica, in 2019, she launched her own record label Gudu Records.

The show sees Gou return to London, a city she is familiar with having moved from her native South Korea to study at the age of 14, later returning again to study at the London College of Fashion. After graduating, she worked as the London correspondent editor for Harper’s Bazaar Korea, and then moved to Berlin, Germany, where she now resides.

 

The rest of the line-up for this summertime showcase also carries an impressive record. Mochakk, a Brazilian sensation whose career has been on the constant rise over the last few years, with a stand out moment coming with the release of his remix of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’, which was released as part of the Groove Armada 25th anniversary celebrations in 2023. LSDXOXO, an American born, Berlin based DJ and producer, has risen from the underground scene of New York. Having released four EP’s and with an album on the way, LSDXOXO is one of the hottest talents around right now and in April 2023 featured as the DJ Mag North America cover artist.
