GLOW STICKS AT THE READY AND PREPARE FOR TAKE OFF: AIRASIA MARK ANNIVERSARY WITH IN-FLIGHT RAVE
On 6th December, passengers on board a routine AirAsia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bali were treated to quite the surprise. To mark the company’s 22nd anniversary the airline threw one of the most unique and electrifying parties. Soaring at around 35,000 ft the passengers of the plane had no idea what was about to take place. For those who were not so keen on the idea, the cabin crew handed out earplugs and eye masks before distributing glow sticks and inviting Malaysian DJ duo BATE onto the decks.
AirAsia were rewarding customers with a limited 22% discount on prices to mark the milestone, while some of the lucky passengers received complimentary flights after participating in a quiz!
Tomorrowland also creates a similar spectacle with their Special Tomorrowland Party Flight…magic in the sky as they call it. Where ravers are offered the opportunity to get the party started early on their way to the festival with Tomorrowland DJs onboard to create the ultimate pre-rave!
