For more than three decades, Coax has been a driving force in the Kent underground scene, building a reputation for fearless sets that blur the lines between house, old-school grooves, Afro-Balearic rhythms, and heavyweight minimal/tech house. Since first stepping behind the decks in 1993, he’s earned a loyal following through an instinctive ability to read a room and take crowds somewhere unexpected.

From London club floors to parties across Europe, Coax has built his sound around energy, movement, and musical depth rather than trends. His sets move effortlessly between soulful percussion, rolling bass lines, and peak-time pressure, always keeping dancers locked in and guessing what’s coming next.

Now holding weekly residencies and a busy summer schedule including closing sets on the white isle, Coax continues to push forward while staying rooted in the raw spirit that shaped him. A seasoned musician as well as a DJ and producer, his productions and mixes carry the same intensity as his live performances — dynamic, groove-heavy, and built for packed dance floors demanding more.
