DJ | Curator | Cultural Connector
Tasha J is a London based Afro and deep house DJ, with Afro-Caribbean roots, known for blending infectious rhythms with a refined ear for underground sounds. With a deep appreciation for music across the African diaspora, her sets are rich in emotion, groove, and global influence, a signature that’s earned her a growing reputation across the UK and internationally.
As the host of Diving Deep on Select Radio, Tasha curates a sonic journey through melodic Afro house, global grooves, and nostalgic gems. The show not only delivers a sophisticated listening experience but also champions underground talent, featuring guest DJs and producers who remain authentic in an increasingly commercialised industry.
Tasha’s passion for music is matched by her love of fashion, making her a true multidimensional creative. She has collaborated with iconic brands such as Prada, Patrón, and Tommy Hilfiger, been featured in leading magazines, and appeared on national radio. Her ability to connect sound and style has taken her to hotspots and venues including Tape, KOKO (Members), and Jazz Cafe, where she brings the vibe to life.
She is also the co-founder of By Invite Only, an electronic night celebrating collaborative spirit and cultural depth, spotlighting underground excellence and community.
