Say hello to Kate Meyher, a producer, DJ, and radio host making waves across the UK’s LGBTQ+ electronic music scene. One of the country’s most celebrated transgender DJs, she uses her platform to champion inclusion and visibility while delivering soulful, high-energy sets that move crowds.
Cutting her teeth in the late ’90s as a resident for Gulp Nation, Kate toured the UK before stepping back to raise her family. Returning in 2020, she quickly reignited her career in local and national radio, hosting shows on Gorgeous Radio, Gaydio, Ibiza Stardust and War on House. She’s gone on to become a familiar face on the UK club and festival scene, performing alongside artists like Jodie Harsh, Fat Tony, Gok Wan and Woody Cook.
As a producer Kate has released on Spotty Dog Records, Curious Energy Records and Happy Sounds, gathering support from BBC Introducing, Gorgeous, Select and more.
Beyond the music Kate is the founder of Chase Pride, curator of Mix City, R4GE and Dollhouse, and a driving force for representation in dance music.
Kate Meyher is more than a DJ—she’s a cultural force uniting music, advocacy, and empowerment. Catch her show every Monday morning from 08:00am
