Hailing from South East London DJ/Producer Next Of Kin has had music in the blood from a very young age. “Growing up watching my uncle mixing Techno/Acid House and
hearing about the clubs he would play throughout the 90’s captured my imagination.”
With over two decades on London’s underground radio scene as well as playing at venues across the UK and Internationally under many guises, Next Of Kin continues to champion the artistry and expression of being a DJ, with the same love and passion for it as when it was first
discovered.

Influenced by the sound of Disco, House, 90’s Dance, Jungle & UK Garage, there are firm
foundations that have been a platform on musical journey across many different genres. “I
grew up hearing the music that stemmed from Paradise Garage New York, the sound
of Chicago, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry… I knew I just had to be involved
somehow”

Even though time and sound has evolved you can often hear those musical influences in
what Next Of Kin plays. Upfront, groovy, hard-hitting, bass driven Tech-House. The same can
be said in terms of music production with successful releases on Vanilla Ace’s “Wyldcard
Records”, Beatport chart entries on two separate releases on “Marylebone Dance” and a
forthcoming single on DJ SKT’s “Stashed” its clear that love for music applies as both a DJ
and Producer.
There’s no Diva-like superstar DJ attitude, “I’m a music fan like everybody else and the
influences and experiences are to be shared with as many people that share the same
feeling about music and connecting with each other as I do”.

With further releases in the pipeline and a continued focus on making music as well as his weekly radio show where he shares in his world of music, no prejudice, no bias, music is a sound not visual, and if it’s good and has that groove you can tune in and expect to be entertained by the many different shades of House.
