Suga C
With a musical upbringing and her parents influences from Disco to Motown & Reggae, Suga started mixing in 2011 with a pair of Technics 1210s and a handful of Vinyl in her bedroom.
With persistence, she eventually taught herself to beat match.
After some serious practice and a shove out the door, Suga started to venture into the house music scene, realising the absolute vastness and flexibility of the genre. She got her first booking out of her bedroom at Mercy in Norwich through mentor and friend Leroy (@Levelupleroy ) and started to eventually get opportunities to play out more, in time leading to hosting and playing at regular nights locally in Norwich, and setting up the Lovehouse brand.
It wasn’t until 2021 and spending time mixing tracks with like minded friends that she started to take mixes to the next level, exploring more sub genres including Melodic, Progressive and Organic House, finding a deeper connection to music and mixing, then venturing on to hold some heavyweight achievements in being a proud member of the Kuca collective team, learning to promote events, presenting and hosting a show on Select and most recently setting up Incognito events.
Suga’s style is Layering tracks to make different sounds and unexpected mixes using vocal hooks to get you dancing. Her passion is a dirty bassline!
