Kiara WL

Kiara WL is a DJ/producer, label owner at Music Box Records and presenter on Select. Her House
Music sets are filled with uplifting pianos, iconic soulful vocals, funky basslines and a smidge of
retro vibe.
Kiara’s passion for music started at a very young age, when she was just 6 she started to learn to play
guitar and piano. Once a teenager, she discovered the world of songwriting as well as music
production and DJing. As a songwriter and music producer, Kiara loves anything that comes from the
70’s, 80’s and 90’s, mixing old classic vibes with more current trends. In April 2021 her debut album
Life made it into several Beatport charts, she also produces regularly, with tracks played on BBC Three
Counties radio, BBC Introducing as well as several Spotify playlists.
As a DJ, Kiara is influenced by the French House wave of late 90’s/early 00’s, she plays mainly Vocal
House, Deep House, Nu-disco, House and Garage with influences from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. So far,
her career has taken her all over Europe as well as Miami Beach during WMC.
In 2021, Kiara founded her record label Music Box Records in London, a label that makes ‘music with
soul’. With a clear Old Skool influence, Music Box Records genres span across the Deep House,
Nu-Disco & Garage spectrum. Her debut track on the label ‘Meet Me On The Dancefloor’ has gained
support by radio and spotify playlists.
