Stereotype

Stereotype (formerly known as The Dirty Disciples) are a DJ duo hailing from the vibrant music scene of Camden Town. They first met in the early 90’s and quickly bonded over their shared love of Electronic Music.
 
With a heavy focus on Garage, Funky House, Electro & Hardcore,
Stereotype began playing together at local clubs and events, establishing themselves as one of the most exciting live acts in the area. As their popularity grew, they started playing on various pirate radio stations and gained a reputation for their unique ‘bumpy’ sound.
 
Over the years, they have played at some of London's most prestigious nightclubs, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the global House Music scene whilst showcasing their ability to constantly evolve and experiment with their sound.
 
One of the ways the duo have continued to connect with their audience is through their weekly radio show on Select.
 Despite their success, Stereotype remain dedicated to their craft and passionate about their music. They have a deep appreciation for the history of Electronic Music and draw inspiration from a wide range of genres and artists.
