Inspired by the sounds of Reggae, Classic House, Jungle & Garage growing up, Mark set about learning to DJ in the early 2000’s, honing his skills on a pair of Soundlab turntables before taking the leap to the industry standard Technics 1210’s.
Mark’s unique approach to Electronic Music and his ability to effortlessly cross-genres has earned him gigs all across the UK as well as a weekly radio show on Select.
On his show Mark plays a variety of music and has interviewed countless Producers & DJs, most recently a Grammy Award Producer & Vocalist. ‘Doing a radio show is so different to playing a club because there is no pressure of a crowd in front of you, you just let loose and dive into a world and just enjoy the music’.
This year Mark also looks set to go into teaching, ‘I want to help and guide students into radio and/or the club circuit’.
He’ll also be focusing on bringing on more guests to the show as well as working on his own music in the studio.
