Hailing from Belfast, Ireland, JØVIK is a rising force in the underground electronic scene, blending years of passion with a refined ear for groove-led, high-energy sounds.
Having started DJing in his teenage years and now with over five years of professional experience behind the decks, his journey has been shaped by a deep-rooted love for all things electronic, with influences from record labels such as Toolroom, Defected and Hot Creations, as well as artists such as Dilby, Duke Dumont and Secondcity.
His sets move effortlessly through house and beyond, balancing infectious rhythms, stripped-back underground cuts, and moments of raw energy designed to lock in any listener or dancefloor. Recently stepping into music production, JØVIK is beginning to carve out a sound that’s entirely his own—forward-thinking yet grounded in the culture that inspired him.
Catch him bringing early morning energy and carefully curated selections to the airwaves, setting the tone with a sound that’s both immersive and unmistakably authentic in Sunrise Sessions, every Thursday from 06:00 - 07:00 am.
