DJ Emma specializes in bringing quality and uplifting music from a range of genres including Soul, Funk, Disco and House Music. Over the last 3 years, Emma’s DJ’ing has been becoming ever more notable. A highlight was when she was one of 4 female DJs who won the Smirnoff Equalizing Music DJ competition back in November 2018. There have also been some exciting bookings flooding in for DJ Emma. She did a winter residency at the beginning of last year in the luxury ski resort of Zermatt in the Swiss Alps and is booked again for 2020. She plays at many private and corporate events across the UK and locally you can find Emma DJ’ing at Walcot House in Bath. She is also a resident at the twice yearly, famous parties at Sparkford Hall in Somerset where people travel from far and wide to attend due to the superb reputation of these events. Major festivals that Emma has played include Glastonbury, The Larmer Tree, Camp Bestival, Wilderness and Creamfields. In the latter part of 2019, Emma warmed-up on 2 separate occasions for the funk and Soul legend Craig Charles famous for his Funk and Soul Club Radio show on BBC6Music. She has also supported Huey Morgan at his ‘Block Party’ in Weston-Super –Mare and regularly DJ’s for Cirque Du Soul when their tour round the UK brings them to the South. Emma has also launched her own podcast, ‘Tales from the Dancefloor’ specializing celebrating house music across the past 30 years which goes out once a month. BBC Radio Wiltshire has recruited her to become of their 2020 Friday Night Resident DJ’s on James Threlfall’s show, where she does a specially curated mix once a month.
